The Animal Protection And Wellness Acadamy (APAW) was formed to provide a place for those in animal protection to continue their education, learn about new procedures and laws, keep up-to-date on techniques, tips and tools to do their job better and continue the unending task of protecting the innocent victims of animal abuse and ignorance.

We offer a full curriculum of virtual or in-person courses for Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, Judges, Animal Control, Rescues/Fosters, Shelters and more.

Each year we also partner with The Animal Protection Society, Animal Law Source and a host of sponsors to produce The Animal Protection And Wellness (APAW) Expo. One FULL day filled with 30 speakers from all over on a variety of subjects integral for continued education and must-have knowledge.  This year the APAW Expo will be held on October 23 2026 at The Hotel Avalon.  For additional information on this must-attend event, please visit www.apawexpo.org.
